I am thrilled to announce my participation in two upcoming shows in Los Angeles this month.
I will have two pieces included in “For Her: An Exhibition By Women About Women,” opening tonight, March 21st at the Pico House Gallery in Los Angeles. The show focuses on what it means to be a woman in modern society, addresses how female roles have changed over the years, and investigates modern and historical female impact. The show will run from March 20th – April 6th, and more information on the exhibition can be found here: [link].
The second show I am participating in is “(En)gendered (In)equity,” opening March 29th at ForYourArt Gallery in Los Angeles. The show features posters made by an impressive list of artists that are investigating the pervasive inequality of gender representation in Los Angeles and New York galleries. The project has been spearheaded by the prolific Micol Hebron, and the exhibition will run from March 29th-April 25th, and more information can be found on ForYourArt’s website [link].
It is very exciting to have the opportunity to exhibit with such accomplished artists in two wonderfully organized and curated shows.
